Class Descriptions

All recreational classes at NEG focus on safety, fun and gymnastics. Children enjoy coming to N.E.G. for their weekly scheduled class day and time. We perform evaluations of all students every 4 months to determine growth and skill development. Children are grouped by age and ability.

Girls Classes: Ages 5 and Up

Our Girls Program utilizes all four Olympic events: vault, bars, balance beam, floor exercise, as well as trampoline. Each class is designed to be exciting and fun while maintaining a safe, disciplined environment. Benefits include increased flexibility, strength, self esteem, and self confidence.

Boys Classes: Ages 6 and Up

With strength and discipline in mind, boys in our program are taught basic skill progressions on all six Olympic events: vault, horizontal bar, pommel horse, still rings, parallel bars, floor exercise, as well as trampoline. Development is continued in a fun and challenging manner.

Preschool Classes: Ages 3-5 Years

Basic gymnastics is integrated into a fun game-like environment in NEG’s preschool classes. Skills include cartwheels, handstands, forward rolls, jumps, bar skills and more. The classes develop strength, flexibility, and self esteem, and also maintains a low student to teacher ratio.
